A Night to Celebrate: Presentation Evening 2026
Our annual Presentation Night was everything we hoped it would be – and more. The room was full, the atmosphere was buzzing, and it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements, commitment and progress of swimmers from right across Harwich, Dovercourt and Parkeston Swimming Club.
From first-time award winners to long-standing club members, the evening was a brilliant reminder of what makes our club special. Presentation Night is about far more than medals and trophies; it is about recognising effort, resilience, improvement and teamwork – values our swimmers demonstrate week in, week out in training and competition.
The pride in the room was unmistakable. Swimmers were supported by families, friends and coaches, creating a genuinely uplifting atmosphere and reinforcing the strong sense of community that sits at the heart of HDPSC.

Our 2026 Junior and Senior Captains and Vice-Captains.
A huge thank you must also go to our sponsors. Their generosity plays a vital role in supporting the club and helping us continue to offer opportunities to swimmers of all ages and abilities. This year, sponsorship contributions directly helped fund the purchase of 34 new event trophies, ensuring that achievements across the club could be recognised and celebrated properly. We were fortunate to have such a large number of sponsors that it simply wasn’t practical to acknowledge every one individually on the night without significantly extending the presentations. We are therefore delighted to recognise all of our sponsors in full below.

The old and new trophies purchased with sponsorship support, ready for Presentation Night.

Finally, thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the evening behind the scenes. Events like Presentation Night rely entirely on volunteers who give their time generously, and their efforts ensured the night ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all.
Presentation Night was a wonderful way to reflect on the season so far and to celebrate the people who make HDPSC such a special club. We now look forward to the months ahead with pride, momentum and a strong sense of togetherness.
